Men’s shoe trends Spring/Summer 2023: The new Pius Gabor collection

Pius Gabor shoes are available in UK half sizes from sizes 6 to 14 (roughly corresponds to European sizes 39 to 49.5). The price range of the collection is between 99.00 € - 150.00 €.

A central role is played by fashionable sneakers, which are even more versatile in new designs. When it comes to colours, the theme of lightness stands out above all: gentle shades of white, beige and brown bring a new lightness to men’s shoes. 

Sneakers and loafers
Sneakers continue to be the most sought-after shoes in men’s fashion. This speaks for a collection with a wide range of different styles. New additions are more formal city sneakers in brushed smooth leather. The fashion sneaker comes in a classic style or stands out with contrasting colour and material blends. Retro sneakers in canvas or with brown shell soles promise a modern heritage look. The outdoor theme has also influenced the coming S/S season: functional shoes, some with rubber lacing, and wide running soles make you want to move outside. 

The practical slip-ons are also complemented by an elasticated strap for quick and easy entry. With wide sneaker soles, they take on a sporty charm.

Colours and patterns
Bright, clean and classic – these are the colours of the S/S collection. The lightness of the warm season is reflected in shoe fashion. Light beige and brown, shades of white and cream or calm grey stand for even more of a natural look. Pastel colours such as light blue, reed green or apricot have also arrived. Dark blue, black or dark olive green offer a beautiful complement. An interplay of colours in the materials, soles and laces makes for exciting contrasts.

Materials 
Pius Gabor predominantly uses certified leather from Europe for the upper material. In the S/S 23, the fine goat suede leather stands out – it is particularly velvety and soft. But high-quality nubuck and brushed smooth leathers also speak for the quality of the collection. A mix of materials is particularly in demand in the sneaker segment, and so the robust leathers are combined with breathable mesh or light balloon silk. Intricate ornamental seams highlight the workmanship of the shoes. The models are lined with light microfibre, leather or terry cloth, depending on the season.

Midsoles and outsoles: 
The sporty running soles are even more voluminous this season – but thanks to Super Flex technology, they remain surprisingly light and flexible. Continuous notches, as well as selected materials, help to create an optimal roll effect with every step. Maximum performance guaranteed! 

Exchangeable footbed  
A comfortable, exchangeable footbed made of soft latex is standard on all Pius Gabor shoes. Another major advantage is the OnSteam insole, which is 100% breathable and moisture-absorbing – for a pleasant sensation around the foot, even in hot temperatures.

Pius Gabor opposes fast fashion, and leads the way in sensible and sustainable shoe production. Compliance with strict standards for processing materials is just as much a matter of course as our commitment to society and nature conservation. The majority of the upper leathers used were certified by the LWG (Leather Working Group).
