Women’s shoes

Ankle boots and boots
Elegant boots will be sure to conjure up classically beautiful looks this season. Wide trouser styles remain popular, with chic platform heels to match. Western boots are even more versatile with different shaft and heel heights, as well as new colours and designs. Gaucho boots are also new on the scene: with a slightly rougher shape and buckles, they are worthy successors to combat boots. The new “Chelseas” with coloured or patterned stretch inserts sport a casual look. 

Trainers
Trainers will also be among the absolute favourites in autumn. Trainers with a small wedge heel made from particularly lightweight EVA are sure to be real eye-catchers. Shell soles are also still in demand. Decorated with beautiful metal jewellery, the sporty shoes take on a truly elegant character. 

College, loafers and dandies
College remains an important theme in the autumn/winter season. Loafers are modern – be it with elegant cuts and with block-like soles. These are further enhanced with metal or leather applications. Dandies come with fine soles and classic hole patterns.

Ballerinas and heels
Elegant shoe fashion is experiencing a real upswing. The comeback being made by ballerinas is striking. Chic styles with a Chanel toe cap or classic Mary Janes with a clasp fastener are now in demand. High heels with a dégradé heel create a harmonious look. 

Colours, materials, decorative elements
Strong berry colours in bordeaux, cherry red, violet or pink create beautiful accents in autumn and winter. Black presents itself in many new variations. Shades of brown – such as dark chocolate or nougat – also ensure a striking appearance. All eyes are drawn to materials with a lacquered or metallic look, as well as shiny silver, bronze and gold tones. 
Decorative elements are increasingly being used, such as glittering rhinestone appliqués and jewellery details made using metal or leather. Decorative fur elements give both trainers and boots a cosy and modern touch. 

Features and comfort
Gabor offers a wide range of comfortable features. Many shoes – both sporty and elegant – are available with a removable footbed which also noticeably improves both the level of wearing comfort and shock absorption. Thanks to their air chambers, shoes with original Hovercraft soles offer a particularly soft feel underfoot.
Sacchetto designs or heels with a flexible insole make for a special look Softness and flexibility in one. In the “Soft&Smart” version, the insole is softly padded from the heel to the toes.
 
Shoes with the “Soft Move” footbed are equipped with a special foam, which noticeably reduces the pressure on particularly stressed areas, such as on the heel and ball of the foot. A lateral stabiliser integrated into the insole provides additional comfort.
For the winter, Gabor offers many models with warm linings to ensure your stay comfortable on days with different temperatures. In addition to slightly roughened textile linings, there are cosy warm linings in combination with a variety of shoes with real lambs’ wool.

Sustainability 
For Gabor, sustainability is a big issue. Many of the leathers used are certified according to the environmental standards of the LWG (Leather Working Group). Gabor is also an official member of the LWG. Metal-free, organic leather and DriTan leather are also used, which are characterised by particularly low water consumption in their production, among other things. As well as this, we use increasing amounts of recycled materials. For example, the cork which is used to make Gabor footbeds and veneers is made 100% from leftover cork. New, interchangeable footbeds and linings are also often made from recycled materials. Gabor manufactures a large proportion of its shoes in Europe, observing the strict EU environmental regulations, and availing of short transport routes. We already obtain a substantial percentage of the electricity we use from renewable sources such as a sizeable photovoltaic installation at our Gabor production facility in Portugal.

Fits and size ranges
Gabor’s aim is to find and offer the ideal shoe for every woman and every foot That’s why Gabor women’s shoes are available in different widths. We also offer plus sizes up to size 11 (46) and half sizes, in order to achieve the finest possible gradation.
A special feature is our “Best Fitting” fit concept. Here, with a normal ball width, the tread surface is widened – particularly suitable for women with normal or rather slender feet, but with slightly more space in the forefoot area.
Gabor is also known for its boot shaft width concept from XS narrow shaft to XL super wide shaft boots. Many long-shaft boots are also available in Vario width, where the shaft width can be further adjusted, e.g. by elasticated straps, zips, buckles, stretch inserts or other solutions.

rollingsoft 
rollingsoft is Gabor’s own brand, and has enjoyed great success among customers for over 10 years. The functional trainers and ankle boots have a special bottom design that supports natural rolling, and makes walking less tiring. A stabiliser integrated into the sole guides the rolling movement and provides greater lateral stability. rollingsoft is available for both men and women.
