Gabor as an employer
We provide about 3,000 people with employment in our companies in Europe, ensuring that they and their families receive a solid income. Currently, we have people from 29 nations working together in our company. In addition, we offer business opportunities to people with disabilities or with low professional qualifications.
Being a family-run business, we identify with our company and attach great importance to respectful cooperation based on the foundation of trust. We would like to share the passion for what we do with our employees. This means that we take responsibility for our workforce and rely on long-term relationships.
Compatibility of work and family
Reconciling family and career - we understand this wish very well and do everything we can to make it possible. For example, we offer mothers and fathers a wide range of highly-customised part-time models (which, by the way, are also popular for a smooth transition into retirement).
At our Rosenheim site, we were awarded the "Familienlöwen" (Family Lion) prize in the category of larger companies, distinguishing us as a particularly family-friendly company.
Health management under special circumstances
The coronavirus is currently dominating our coexistence, and it is having a major impact on our coexistence and, as such, also on us as a company. From the very beginning, our top priority has been to ensure that our employees and, of course, our customers stay healthy.
We have taken many precautions at our locations and in our stores. We keep ourselves up-to-date on the latest developments and maintain regular contact with the local health authorities. This allows us to react quickly to changing circumstances and to keep our customers and employees safe and provide them with a good feeling.
Special hygiene and safety measures have been planned and implemented:
- Obligation to wear masks
- Social distancing rules
- Provision of disinfection products
- Regular ventilation
- No handshakinig allowed
- Remote working
- Individualised hygiene concepts for various workplace-related situations
- And many more measures
